It was a dark and stormy night. Curtains flew as the wind tore open the window with a thundering crash. Clutching the candle-stick between her thin fingers, she made her way upstairs. The floors creaked with every step she took as if screaming from immense pain. She moved slowly, frightened by the noises echoing beneath her. The thunder crashed and lightening scattered shadows along the walls. A dark silhouette appeared before her shrinking into the darkness with the fading flash of light. Wind swept open the window once more, extinguishing the candle's light and sending her into complete darkness. Fear crept up on her, starting a frenzy inside her. Too scared to move, she stood still, contemplating her next move. She took a step, the floors creaked beneath her. Another step, and another, and another. She reached the top of the stairs when she felt something grab her. Terrified, she scrambled to try and get away from the beast that had gripped her so vigerously. Fighting to get away, the thunder crashed and lightening brightened the room to reveal the silhouette she had seen before. There, a face was illuminated revealing an older woman with long silvery hair with blue eyes. Her face had few wrinkles, but her pale skin stood out against her blue lips. The grip on her tightened as the woman reached for her. Grabbing at her locket, the woman ripped it from her neck with a terrible force that took flesh and blood. The woman screamed in fright, kicking and punching her. She was motionless, taking the beatings, letting out screams of pain. A single word left her lips as she fell unconcisous, "Mommy". The woman stopped with a horrid expression on her face. Thunder clashed outside as the lightning illuminated the room. Blood streamed down the walls. The woman's skin had turned pink from the splotches that had stained her face. Tears streamed down the woman's face as the realization crept up on her. Her daughter is dead.
I like this too. Better than the other one, actually. I just don't feel like pumping your ego too much right now. But this is really good. Although I am concerned with what's happening in your head. Too many drugs?
